Frank Harrison

Frank Harrison, 90, of Savannah, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, in Savannah.

He was born in Spring City, Tenn., the son of the late Crocket and Bertha Long Harrison. He was united in marriage to Daurshie Kilburn, who survives.

Mr. Harrison worked for General Motors in Detroit, Mich. He was a United States Army Veteran where he was a paratrooper and was honorable discharged from 511th Airborne Signal Company. He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church where he was a deacon for many years, and then was a member of Riverview Baptist Church.

Services were held on Sunday, Dec. 27, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Mark LaRue officiating. Burial was in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.

In addition to his wife, Daurshie of Savannah, he is survived by one son, Frank Junior Harrison of Constantine, Mich.; and one daughter, Carolyn Fingerle of Kansas City, Kan.; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
