Annette Davis

Annette Davis was born in Hardin County, Tenn. on Oct. 20, 1958, the daughter of F.G. and Sallye Davis Austin and Frankie Davis and the late Warren G. Davis all of Savannah.

Miss Davis graduated from Central High School in 1976 and Mount Vernon Bible College in 1981. She worked in maintenance for Packaging Corporation of America in Counce for 25 years, and was a member of Savannah Foursquare Church where she served as youth pastor for 15 years. Annette loved life and everything about it: woodworking, welding, yard work, golfing, fishing and spending time with her nephews, Luke and Jake and her niece, Leah. She loved God, her family and co-workers.

Miss Davis departed this life on Saturday, Nov. 28, at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, at the age of 51 years, 1 month and 8 days.

Four brothers, Davy Austin (Carol) and family, Eddie Davis (Pat) and family, Ronnie Davis (Freeda) and family, all of Savannah, and Gary Davis and family of Waynesboro, and a multitude of friends.

Miss Davis was preceded in death by her birth father, Warren G. Davis, one birth brother, Danny Davis and her grandparents, Lee Lawrence Davis, Lillie Hester Franks, George "Pink" Davison and Anner Ray Davison.

Services were held on Monday, Nov. 30, at 11 a.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with James Fitts officiating. Burial was in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.
